s**y Paul - it is not my fault you do not wish to die. If you do not like the question - don't answer. There's no need to go reporting it..

And, what I mean by the question is how old do you have to be in order to be prone to all these causes of death?

  1. there is no such thing as dying of old age. you have to die of something. like heart failure or organ failure. stroke .. heart attack. something. usually someone who is really old and dies in their sleep or something dies of heart failure from old age. but it is heart failure that killed them. not just being old.

  2. old age is not a way to die. its just as you get older, your immune system will fail, your body will weaken, and mobility limit. but in this suffernig, there is no limit of age, but who holds on to this weakfulness the longest.

  3. dont think you can die of old age.....being old is relative...ppl who are in their 50's 60's 70's++ they get to a stage where they maybe prone to heart attacks and stuff....i guess there could be a genetic switch that gets turned on when you reach a certain age no matter how fit or in shape you are.

  4. i think 50

  5. it depends on how healthy you will live your life....

  6. Tragically, very young. There are several genetic disorders, collectively known as Methuselah syndrome, which lead to premature ageing, cell degeneration and organ failure, sometimes as young as four or five.

  7. As young as the heart wants to be!

  8. That's somewhat a flawed question. People do not die because of old age, they die because after many decades, their body has become weaker and ill health affects them more. Whether it be a heart giving out due to wear and tear, cancer, burst blood vessels, disease, or a virus. These are the most common causes of death in old age.

I would consider the depletion of telomeres in cellular DNA the single true death due to old age. Your DNA has a cap (telomeres) on each end to prevent it from fraying like a thread. This is necessary to ensure it remains intact during DNA replication as a part of cellular division to form new cells. When a cell divides, the resultant two cells have half the amount of telomeres as the single parent cell did. Eventually, these telomeres become depleted. When this happens, the DNA strand does not replicate correctly. And hence the body  detects that the cell is malfunctioning and destroys it. When this happens to too many of your cells, you die. As this is genetic, living a healthy lifestyle will not avoid it.

  9. and the follow up questions:

"One you're in Heaven, do you gbet stuck wearing the clothes you were buried in for eternity?' and

"is it still called a Hearing when a deaf person goes to court."

  10. so are you asking what "old" is? depends on how old U are. the "old" age limit increases as you age  :)~
