Howard Stern / Artie Lang FANS??

Question

As some may know - they couldn't play the "replay" show today - as Howard wanted to listen to the tapes first? Is this a "pre-vacation" bit? Or the real thing? Artie sounds like he is about to cry - I think it is real.

What the heck is going on with Artie?!!  I missed the West Coast Feed today, so I was just going to turn on the replay, but quickly realized it was not on.  Then, I was on perezhilton.com, and they had a post that Artie walked off the show.  I just listened to the link you posted, and that sounded crazy!  Artie sounds truly angry, Robin sounds genuinely mad/nervous/upset, Howard...well, you never know with him, but I can't imagine he was pleased with what happened.  I don't think it was a bit.  If it was, they all deserve Academy Awards!  I'd like to know how the fight in the hallway got started.  Of course, I WOULD have to miss today's show!!  I love Artie on the show, and think he's hilarious, but he obviously can't hold it together.  I'd hate to see him leave the show, but maybe it is what he needs.  As fans, we know he has issues (from the stories he tells) but I have a feeling there are even more issues/stories that he hasn't talked about.  He needs professional help, an intervention, something!  But, until he is ready to help himself, there is (sadly) probably nothing anyone else can do.

It was very real. Artie has blown up at people there before. I really hope that he isn't quiting and once everyone cools down this can get resolved. I think that he didn't want to replay the show (on sirius or on howard tv) is because he didn't want the situation to escalate. I think they should have replayed/shown it because that what howard is all about "being real", but i think this is his way of trying to keep artie.

this is what happened  I live in Jersey and was driving to work when it happened.

Artie and his assistant were fighting in the hallway.  Howard brought the assistant in to discuss it further.  Artie started getting very angry and very upset for about 10 minutes as Howard interviewed them and got to a bad point.  Artie started accusing his assistant that he steals his money and all this crazy stuff.  He got so wound up that he started throwing things at the assistant, jumped over a desk to attack his assistant and needed like 10 people to hold him back.  Howard told him to go to the green room.  Than Artie came in and basically accused Howard of making this fight happen etc... than he said he is quitting.  It was actually scary.  

I think he pulled the tape because there may be legal action or Howard wants to review the tapes or Sirius attorneys to make sure there isn't anything that was illegeal.

It was weird.  I also listened for a while after and everyone was BUMMED OUT!

Latest news is that Artie is on his way to Amsterdam.  I think he will do some crazy stuff out there.
