Howard Webb to referee 2010 World Cup Final

English referee Howard Webb will take charge of this Sunday’s World Cup Final between Spain and Holland in Johannesburg.

The Rotherham-born match official becomes the first Englishman to referee a World Cup Final since Jack Taylor in 1974.

Webb took charge of the 2010 Champions League Final between Bayern Munich and Inter Milan back in May, and has impressed over the course of this summer’s World Cup finals in South Africa.
