Howcome a football kicked by a player an example of 2-dimensional motion?

I think it should be 3-dimensional.

    Not side to side. 2 dimensions.


  2. if xaxis n y axisis taken as da horizontal n vertical axis respectively n da ball is thrown at an angle A with an initial velocity = u ,den after it lands at a dist of R in time T den it ios observed dat it travels only in da x axis n da y axis

    here consider z and x plane

    so 2d

    but, if football curves in its path, then motion becomes 3d, as there is a change in its x,y and z coordinate
