  1. Sorry to say this, but you know I always have to tell the truth. I have heard TOO MANY Greeks saying very offensive and racist things about Jews. Some even went so far to say that the reason they hate them is because the Jews crucified Jesus... LOL :) More educated ones named some other reasons, but the bottom line is, I have seen a lot of Greeks who are not so fond of Jews and even less fond of Muslims. Sorry to say this, and of course I'm not saying that most Greeks are that way, I just say "a lot".

To Frank B: You're accusing Trotsky for using every opportunity to offend Greeks, but I have seen one of your answers in the Turkish section and trust me, it was an offence to say the least. To the question "Why does Europe hate Turkey", which seemed to be asked by a Greek user (or someone who wanted us to believe he's Greek), you told Turks that "they use the Greek word Europe and try to see their monkey faces in its mirror". Now, if that is not an insult, what is it?

EDIT: Sorry, I made a mistake. It wasn't Frank B. who accused Trotsky, it was Cort. By the way, he had some pretty offensive answers (AND questions) in the Turkish section as well. Frank, please accept my deepest apologies.

  2. did you know than arabs are a semitic people too?

why can´t we call "anti-semitism" the fascists zionist jews and the radical christians than hate arabs, if arabs are a semitic people as the jews?

  3. In 1821-1829, during the Greek War of Independence, thousands of Jews were massacred alongside the Ottoman Turks. The Jewish communities of Mistras, Tripolis, Kalamata and Patras were completely destroyed.

    They are anti-Jewish and anti-Turkish.

  4. There are not a lot of Jews in Greece. Most have vanished during the n**i occupation. Even so, Greeks helped a lot of Jewish families during the 2nd world war.

But most importantly, you draw some parallels which are rather biased here. Greeks are not anti-Turkish in a racist sense. Quite the opposite! Greeks get along with Turks very well on a personal basis and I have witnessed that so many times. Harsh feelings between those two nations (not people) exist due to repeated wars in the past and recent tensions over Cyprus. Nothing with racism.

With Albanians, Greeks have unfortunately reacted (often with racism) towards them as any other EU nation has reacted towards its own influx of immigrants (Germany to Turks, Netherlands to Moroccans, France to Algerians, Spaniards to Latin Americans). Do you know any place on earth (including the states) where immigrants are welcomed? Let me know..

Thus, I honestly fail to see your logic as you seem to be mixing historical disputes (Greece vs. Turkey) with racist feelings that to my humble opinion have no place in Greece.

    Lady S:

edit 1: My reply was not meant for Turks. It was written for Kyser, a German. Read carefully on top of my answer: " To Kyser". Even more I don't think I have ever accused Trotsky.

    edit 2: No problem..:)

Trotsky: Jews did disappear from Greece during the 2nd world war and Jews, Armenians and Greeks were all prosecuted by Ataturk...not the Greeks in 1919-21. The Israeli govt has send a thankful letter to the orthodox patriarchate for the great help during the n**i occupation.

The point is that spending your time writing provocative letters, be wrong, state facts that are simply not true, and appear angry as Greeks have done so much damage in your life is 1. funny, 2. pathetic and 3. don't harm anyone else but you. Why not put your energy in something more meaningful?

  5. In Greece the Jews are around 5500 people so your information are not correct..

Edit: Why the Turkish nationalist and provocateur "Trotsky vs Kerensky- НекIо!" must express her hate toward Greeks in almost every post of her? Is she having her period every day or she just missed a man?

    other ethnicity's,that is you.

you are rather a story teller, not an historian.

you make history, to your own like.

this is what JEWISH wrote about Greece and Greeks not something that some Trolltsky haters of Greece find in the Youtube.........

Trollksy:why the Greeks in Greece now are only 5.000 where less than 80 years ago were 250.000???Can you answer me?

At least in Greece n**i invade, what about Turkey???

  8. Yes, it is true that there isn't any anti-semitism in Greece, but there isn't also an 'anti-arabism' or an 'anti-americanism', let's say. I totaly agree with Frank B, I have nothing more to say.

    For Trocky...:

It is very impressive how some answerers from Turkey, not only Trocky, pretend to have a wide knowledfe of Greek History, even for matters that have absolutely nothing to do with Turkey or Ottoman Era!

Quite impressive, I've studied History and my job is to teach it, but I wouldn't be so sure about what is going on NOW in a country that I've never been!

Why those people can interevene with every occasion and give misleading answers about so specified issues that concern contries which are (unknown )most possibly to them?

Some time ago, an answerer (not  a  troll and not offensive) answered a question about Kurds in Turkey and one or two answerers from Turkey told him rudely to mind his own business. :-]
