  1. That was kind of normal for me.  I'd be scared until I took my first shot, then I'd settle down.  Whenever I'd spar someone for the first time, I'd wonder if I'd end up waking up, staring at the sky or ceiling.  Once I took a shot, I knew I'd be ok.

  2. I wonder if you confussing lack of confidence with being nervous. Being nervous is very normal. You can be the most confident fighter in the world and still be nervous. In fact most great fighters admit to bing nervous before a fight. an amazing thing happens once the first bell rings. At that point all nervousness leaves. Maybe because you no longer have time to be nervous.

  3. you can't be a fighter if you lack cinfudence.

try being a sparring partner first.

  4. The harder you train the better you confidence will be.

  5. A word of advice NEVER test the power of  your opponent. You do have confidence it,s just your mind playing tricks on you . The next time you get into the ring concentrate on what you are going to do rather than thinking about what might happen to you because you know what what ever is going to happen to you in that ring is going to happen to you so think about the things you can control. If you have properly trained you will be alright
