Howcome my Songs have disappeared of my memory card..?

I have a samsung M510 and i had 12 songs on my memory card and all of a sudden they disappeared and wont come back but i was figgling around in tools then in the 4 options and Mass Storage can someone help me i really want all my 12 songs..!
