I've read the book already, but i dont remember whether or not McCourt says why the twins die? is it because of the lack of food, or was it a diseas? because i remember Oliver had a fever when he was taken to the hospital, and then died.

i need help, a simple answer could work but id like some details because im writing a commentary and id like to know alot.

  1. Actually Oliver died first.

  2. It’s a while since I read Angela’s Ashes or watched the movie, but I think they both died as a result of a number of factors ranging from malnutrition to poor living conditions to lack of access to medicine.  These links should help you with this work.

  3. Well Malachy, the children's father said it was the cold from the river that had came up and killed them.  Eugene Died first, and at the next paragraph it says Oliver died.  They died from fever.
