Hows iHop? I'll be going to the states on Sat. and might stop by.?

Question

Every time I go to the states, I see iHops, and people are going in during the morning, all the way through closing time.

I love pancakes on occasions, but I never make special ones. Soo comment about people who've been there would be great :p

Oh my god the IHOP is the BEST pancakes ever! By far my favorite place to go! I would highly recommend the butter pecan syrup!

Well, ihop is okay. Not the best, not the worst. Their corncake pancakes or something like that are pretty good because they have a different texture. Hashbrowns are good. But for some reason their stuffed pancakes just look nasty.

IHOP isn't my favorite, but it's pretty good if you like pancakes. I would not recommend eating non-breakfast foods there (like steaks, etc.).  But they are known for their pancakes. What I do like about IHOP is that they have flavored syrups on every table, not just maple syrup. I believe they offer strawberry, boysenberry, maple and maybe even apricot syrups- it's a nice alternative for those of us who don't enjoy maple syrup all that much.

Since it's a chain restaurant, it depends on which particular one you visit- some are better than others.

Some other great places for pancakes are the Original Pancake House (all over the country) and Denny's.
