Hows the Weather in mexico...cancun...playa del carmen?

Hi we fly out tomorrow morning to playa del carmen and it says isolated thunderstorms and showers....are we talking all day down pour of rain??? anyone there right now??

Being in the tropics, they can get a few showers or storm almost any day during the summers.  These are typically fairly brief, unless a tropical system is in the area, which currently there is not one.  Thus you would only have to go inside for a short time, then the sun will return.
