Hows the nightlife in niagra falls canada?

i mean, what is there to do over there? are there shows, movie theaters, good restaurants, safe streets to stroll in? scenic views? good hotels?

On Clifton hill there are things for kids and adults music, sports bar and even a stroll along the falls with the falls illuminated is amazing. The Fallsview and Casino Niagara are both there and great. There are always lights and fun just by walking around.

Shows:

If you are looking for shows, there is the Ripley's Believe it or Not Moving Theatre, which is a movie theatre with graphics and hydraulic seats, which is pretty interesting. If you are looking for more traditional entertainment, I would suggest looking to the Fallsview Casino. They usually have famous recording artists, and comedians each night that travel the casino circuts. Acts such as Regis Philbin, Aretha Franklin, among others are common.

Restaurants:

The Niagara Falls area is very touristy, so there are a lot of chain restaurants such as Applebee's and Hooters. For more fine dining, you are going to have to look to the nicer hotels such as the Hilton, and Sheraton, and the Casino's as there isn't a whole lot of fine dining on the main strip.

Streets:

The streets are very safe for walking, the most prominent streets are Clifton Hill, and Lundy's Lane. Here you will find a variety of attractions such as haunted houses, wax museums, and much more. It can be expensive for large families, but it is unique.

Scenic Views:

Niagara Falls is certainly a wonder of the world. For the best view, you will definitely want to go to the Canadian side of the falls, as the American side has a horrible view, and is frankly not the nicest area. In addition to the falls you will see the Niagara gorge, and the famous whirl pools. You can see all of this from the parks that line the cliffs, or for a price you can do a walking tour down to the base of the falls, or ride the maid of the mist boat which will take you directly behind the falls. There are light shows at night which provide unique viewing.

Hotels:

Certainly the finest hotel in the area is the Fallsview Hotel and Casino, which is overseen by the Candian Government. Rates will be 350-600 dollars a night. The Hilton is also very nice and has a fantastic pool, connected to the Fallsview Casino by suspended sidewalk. The Sheraton is also a quality hotel. Keep in mind you will be paying a lot more for a hotel room with a view of the water, and so if you want to save money you can book a city view room, and see the falls from the Hotel's restaurants.

I'll also let you know about the two main nightclubs in the area, Dragonfly is a 4 million dollar night club which brings the finest DJ's from all over the world. Cantina Charlies is less formal and featuers their famous "Foam" parties, where bubbles fall from the ceiling.

All of the above and 2 casinos.  You can dine at the Skylon and go 'round and 'round and watch the Falls, or have dinner at the Table Rock Restaurant just a few feet from the Falls.  There is also Great Wolf Lodge (hotel) that has water slides and great accommodation.  There's lots great restaurants all up and down the whole stretch of the falls, you can also take a ride on the Maid of the Mist boats or walk down in the caves below the falls.  It's a great vacation.
