life is the soul people choose to discipline

drugs murder stealing after you done them all what then

go back to the begining and sin again

the love of money greed is what people calls freedom

they rape and kill people knowing that money is the only thing that beats them

giving it up the only way through the gate and gave away your soul

even the key to heaven is to be sold

money mirrors on happiness as if gold were to be gods

swimming in riches pleases greed speaks uncontrollable; doesn't stop

faith is has to be,

it's not the road you have to follow but the way you choose to walk

  1. I think that this sums it up pretty much! Please allow me to put this in lyrical form. Ozzy Ozbourne would shred this apart...

    IN THE ROAD

Life will make you strong enough to discipline

Murder, drugs and stealing after that what then?

Everywhere you turn are enemies or friends

So go back to the beginning and sin again

Greed and love of money is the new found freedom

There is no hope in trying it's that time of season

You see their always angry for no particular reason

You never want to join them cause you know you can't beat them

In my hand's a key that will posess your soul

You fought so hard against it now you won't let go

Your voice is saying something that you can't control

It's all that Mr. Crawley ever told you so!

    CHORUS:

    Broken mirrors

    Throughout the years

    Hearts grow cold,

    The golden gods

    Have set the odds

    And I don't know

    I'm in the road....

    TWIN DUEL LEAD

    1ST  SHORT LEAD

    2ND SHORT LEAD

    2ND DOUBLE CHORUS:

    Faith's misleading

    Barely breathing overtones,

    Swimming in riches

    Measured in inches

    I don't know

    Talk the talk

    Now walk the walk

    Head hung low,

    Come tomorrow

    Which path to follow

    I don't know...

    I don't know

    (know)

    (know)

    (know)

    (know)

I have fun taking poems and turning them into lyrics for songs. I apologize if I offended you, but this is an exercise of my free thinking. You may use it if you wish because I would never steal anyone's composition for my own... Ciao!
