How“kink” helps to allow more substances to pass through the phospholipid cell membrane?

Think of it this way: a phospholipid bilayer gets it's characteristics from the way the lipids interact with each other.  The more straight and regular they are, the more rigidity there will be in the bilayer.  If you add a kink, that disrupts the regularity and adds some flexibility.  Kind of like a flaw in a crystal.
