Hp care package .. cracked laptop screen ??

my little brother just broke my laptop screen and now not only is the screen cracked but also the touch screen is only working on the right side where it's not cracked but even then it's working weirdly...

i was wondering how would hp usually handle this .. oh and i do have the 2 year care package warranty .. would they replace the laptop .. cuz they don't sell the same model any more?? what's gonna happen???

i'm really not in the mood to pay for a new laptop or even have to wait for 2-4 weeks to get my laptop..

i don't know if they will fix it. when i bought a laptop at best buy like 4 year ago, a got a protection plan. my headphone jack didn't work well and my ethernet jack was lose after one year. i took back to best buy, they sent it to hp (i think), and when they send me back my laptop, they said that they couldn't fix the problems bcause they said that i must have pulled out too brutally the cable that goes in the headphone and in the ethernet jack which make them to be lose. then they said that it wasn't "a normal" use that made the notebook problems, so it is not included in the protection plan. then they didn't fix it, that why i never buy protection plan anymore. i hope that u will get better result. good luck.
