Hp notebook battery?

Question

when i charge my hp notebook it says 100% after an hour it says 3% but then when i leave it on longer when it gets to 0% and it on it last for 2 hours why does it show incorrect battery time?

this sumtimes happens when battery has internal circuit problem.if the problem gets bigger n bigger then u shud take action.i had same problem with the other laptop and later after i changed the cells it only showed me 10 mins backup.i came to know it was circuit problem .so i replaced battery.
