Hp photosmart c4100 help please.?

I lost my software and I went to Hp and down load the ones they had and does not work. I have the software down load on my laptop, can I get it from there and put it on my dest top? If so how?

Yes, you can either use a USB memory stick or burn the software on a CD and then transfer the drivers on to your desktop. I've done it this way many times and it works. I work in an IT department and we have to keep a copy of all the printer drivers for the printers our clients use in case something happens to their computers.

It's probably in MY Documents, double click on it and it should open and let you run it.

Right click on it and a menu should appear that says Send To, click on desk top. i hope this is what you mean.
