today i had bad pains in my chest after static training. i am totally new to it (about a month of training), but all i do is a regimen i found on the internet of holding your breath 3 times for close to as long as you can (but not a max hold by any means) with 5 minutes rest between. anyways i usually hold for about 1:25-1:30.

today i did not swallow beforehand (usually i do this about 15-20 seconds before the hold) so i'm wondering if that had something to do with it. is their anyway to get rid of this urge (mostly caused by saliva). i usually have to do this several times per hold (sometimes i get the urge as early s 20 seconds) so "just hang in a few seconds longer" won't work. however, it's weird because i have forgotten to do this in the past with no apparent problems.

on a side note should i just alternate co2/o2 training tables? i think that might give better results. i have tried both a couple times and they (especially o2) seemed to help. what say you?
