  1. First Great Western, East Midlands Trains or National Express East Coast? They differ.

    Additional: Can't find a diagram but virtually the whole carriage is airline style seating with only (I think) 2 tables. Here is a photo:

  2. I see your plight. This is a truly hideous plan for a coach layout.

    On 2nd(Std) Class HST Sets, coach D is a TSO(Tourist Open Second), as is B,C,D,E,F.

    On ex GNER(now NEEC) there are 8 large tables per coach,

    with 4 seats per table.

    This is a far better way to travel with family etc.

  3. it really depends worst late western have absolutely revolting airline seats throught with only 1 table per carrige and rock hard seats. grand central have utterly delightful table seats all aligned to the windows. midland mainline(emt) have a similar interior but with less window alignment while nxec have retro but comfortable carriges and also a couple of refurbished mallards.
