Hsu Jen Hao overpowers Vladimir Ivanov in Men’s Singles first round at Yonex French Open
Chinese Taipei’s talented player Hsu Jen Hao proved his mettle on court and reached into Men’s Singles second round after defeating Russia’s Vladimir Ivanov in first round clash at the Yonex French Open Super Series 2012 on Wednesday, October 24, in France.
The impressive Jen Hao, who currently holds World Number 32 position in Men’s Singles category, played with remarkable control and precision all the way to register his mark over his Russian rival in a 34-minute contest.
Taipei shuttler was in good shape as he moved smoothly in all areas of the court and remained successful in winning this first round clash in straight sets with a commanding margin on score board.
The hard to match speed and attacking play of Jen Hao favoured him to take control of the pace from rallies from the initial stage of opening game.
The wonderful game plan helped Jen Hao to put his Russian challenger in all sorts of problem and he advanced with a terrific speed and stayed miles ahead on score board until the one-minute break.
After the interval, the lower ranked Russian shuttler tried his best but could not change things around as he lost his focus on court.
It was a smooth ride all the way for the aggressive Jen Hao who did not face any considerable resistance from his Russian opponent and won the first game with a crushing margin of 21-13.
In the second set, things were almost similar as Jen Hao maintained his domination in the arena without sparing any chance for his opponent to put up strong show.
The positive approach and wonderful speed helped Jen Hao to remain ahead of his opponent throughout the opening half of second set.
In the ending half, Jen Hao continued his impressive performance without showing any sign of pressure and easily wrapped up the set by a superb difference of 21-14.
Jen Hao won this starting round clash in a completely controlled fashion with an inspiring 21-13 and 21-14 score on the board.
