Hsu Jui Ting tames Adam Mendrek in Men’s Singles round-of-16 at BWF World Junior Championships
Chinese Taipei’s talented player Hsu Jui Ting showed a great performance and secured his berth in the Men’s Singles quarter-final after showing exit to Adam Mendrek of Czech Republic in round-of-16 clash at the BWF World Junior Championships 2012 for EYE
– Level Cups on Thursday, November 1, at Chiba, Japan.
The un-seeded Hsu Jui, who has been impressive throughout the tournament, played with tremendous speed and precision on court and ousted his higher ranked challenger in a completely crushing manner.
Taipei shuttler worked really well, waiting for the right chance to pounce on his rival and managed to send him packing in straight games with a stunning margin while taking just 22 minutes on court.
In the meanwhile, the 9th seeded Mendrek was shocked with the incredible performance of his lower ranked opponent and remained struggling throughout the tournament.
Mendrek failed to play his normal game and also remained unable to cope up with the mounting pressure. He failed to stop his rival from winning the battle with a lopsided margin on the board.
In the starting game, the impressive Hsu Jui delivered a spectacular performance as he did not waste any time in controlling the pace of rallies.
The in-form Hsu Jui was quick in getting the bird early and did not face any complication in placing his powerful strokes in right areas of his rival’s court.
Until the end of first half, the impressive Taipei shuttler remained successful in creating a spectacular gap on score board without facing any trouble.
After the break, Hsu Jui was quite calm and composed in the arena as he did not play confused badminton at any stage and ended up the first set with a stunning difference of 21-10.
In the second game, Hsu Jui did not lose his concentration on court as he remained successful in taking a stunning lead against his higher ranked opponent until the one-minute break.
In the concluding part of second game, the lower ranked Hsu Jui continued his smooth ride and easily bagged the set with a lopsided margin of 21-14.
Hsu Jui easily registered a comprehensive win over Mendrek by winding up the match in just 22 minutes with a one-sided 21-10 and 21-14 score on the board.
