Htc touch messaging ringtone?

Hey everyone

I searched for this for like hours and I cannot figure out how to change the ring tone for SMS to one of my custom ring tones! I have ring tones on my phone blah blah blah I know how to do that, and i already tried this

and my ring tones don't pop up when i follow those instructions. when i connect my phone and sync it, i go to "My ring tones" and they come up, so they are in the folder but I cannot get this stinking thing to work, please help!

For it to pick them up in the dropdown list for messaging they will have to be converted to either .wma or .wav files

Make sure to put them in the main windows folder not  a subfolder in windows like windows/ringtones.

Also Make them short  1 or 2 seconds

They play completely through and can,t be interrupted
