Html help in web design?

Question

can someone tell me the html code that lets me change one thing (an upcoming events section) on one page and changes it on all the other pages, but it has to only change that one little section and nothing else

What you want to use, if your web host allows it, is to use Server Side Includes and set up the include file containing the section you always need to update.

Once SSI is set up, all you have to do is edit the include file, upload and overwrite old one and the changes will appear on all your pages.

Free hosting sites rarely allow SSI.

I have been using wordpress. It makes it so even the client could go in there and add information without getting boggled by the html code aspect of design. You can also research include files. An include file allows you to edit information in headers footers and menu bars and it changes the info on all of your pages. Hope this helped out.
