Hubby's b-day - need ideas?

I really want to do something for my hubby's b-day - I'd like to go on a very,very small mini-vacation/weekend getaway. But I don't want to spend gobs of $$$.

Any ideas? I need some very, very affordable ideas ;)

-go stay in a hotel, and do a tour somewhere. Maybe a brewery?

-if he likes sports or concerts, buy his favorite teams tickets and suprise him with them when you get to a hotel!

-take him to a beach where nobody go's...take a blanket and his faorite food...and watch the sunset. (bring his favorite music to listen to?)

The wife took me downtown, we got a hotel room, went to dinner, a show and then later she treated me to a trip to a nude strip club. She is truly awsome.

make his favorite dinner, send the kids to the baby sitter, dress in something s**y, and treat him like a king for a day.

wake him up with a bj... send him messages or pics during the day wearing lingerie or something.. when he comes home at the end of the day, greet him at the door with an overcoat on... throw him on the couch and rock his world.. order a pizza and eat pizza, beer and ice cream on the couch naked..

simple..

It depends on where you live. You can spend a weekend in the hotel room: go to a dinner in the evening, sleep till late, get a breakfast in bed, then go to a couples massage in spa, then you can just stay in, order some drinks and have s*x.

Do you want to know the actual answer or the fabricated for denial woman answer?  (hint, the actual answer costs nothing, takes less time than you spend in the shower, takes less effort than you will spend shopping in an afternoon, and should in theory be fun for you as well)

If **you** really want a cheap vacation, take him camping to a remote campground.  Take some beer.  And stay naked for the whole time.

Or, if you must ignore the truth, give as Michael Stipe (REM) says "another prop... to occupy my time.  this one goes out to the one I love".

Surprise him with a 3-some with you and 1 of your hot girlfriends.

He will love it and always remember that birthday for sure.

And it doesn't cost anything.

I did that 1 yr for my husband and he loved it.

You should of mentioned where you live.

I love going up north for the weekend.  Rent a small cottage for 2 days cook, clean, do laundry, it's so much fun!
