Hubby's birthday is on Tuesday which is 11 dpo....?

Question

I was thinking of testing and then if it was positve letting him know that morning ( after that first pee!! ). I know there are no guarentees that I will get an accurate test but if i do it would be awesome and if I don't I won't even tell him I took one....

Good Idea or Bad Idea??

Wonderful idea. :) You could even wrap the test up and give it to him first thing after you take it. Best of luck!

If you can handle it with a happy smile if it's a BFN then I would do it.  Wouldn't that be a great birthday present!  I'm going to wait until the day before my blood test and then take a test to get the most accurate result...I don't know if I can handle another BFN.  Good luck to you!!!

great idea, but just keep in mind that it is still a little early to test and for the most accurate answers, you are supposed to wait til you miss a period.  

I took a test using an early detection...and got a bfp....then started my period 4 days later...it is an early miscarriage, called a "chemical pregnancy"...just be aware that it may not be accurate. On the other hand, it may be negative, yet you still become preggo...so like I said...great idea, just don't get discouraged (or overly happy).

Make sure you've got something else to look forward to that day if it's a BFN, because telling him you got a negative on his birthday is not a nice thing to do to him .... or you either!

I absolutely love the idea ..... if it works out well. If not, you are setting yourself up for a disappointing day!
