Hubby coming home....any ideas?

DH works out of town. He is coming home for a 4 day weekend and I am looking for some ideas other than the typical dinner, movie, etc...I want to do something fun, special and something he will remember b/c the long distance is beginning to put some strain on the marriage....

oh yea, forgot to mention, our kids will be here :) so we have to work around that

Take two days just by yourself, arranged by u, let that be a surprise, rest use ur imagination, do sumthing u never did, or sumthing that will totally surprise him.

how about a sports party/bbq in his honor. you can watch the olympics.

at the end of the night the kids go home with grandma and you have time with hubby.

hmm. Okay make this fun for this kids as well. Have the kids create a welcome Home daddy banner so when he comes in he will see the huge banner in the entrance. Have a small BBQ and lay out a pool for the kids. Have a water balloon fight with your hubby and the kids. Lots of fun. You may want to find a babysitter though because he may want some alone time with you. Candles flowers on the bed. Give him a message. That sounds real nice.

Buy rubber sheets and oil...as soon as the kids are asleep...break it out hun...slip sliding away...yahoo...he'll love ya for that!

Try to keep it simple. If he is been out of town working he is more then likely exhausted & would appreciate some down time. Plan a day for just the two of you, arrange for someone to watch your kids. Do the things he enjoys; cook his favorite foods, breakfast in bed etc....... Just make the four days all about him.

Is there any way you can have someone watch the kids for a night or two? Either send them to someone's house (grandparents, friends?) and stay home just the 2 of you, or have someone stay in your home and you guys go away.

If that's not an option, wait until they're in bed and have a few things planned for YOUR bed time! Go and buy some s**y new lingerie. Go to an adult store (there are some really classy, nice ones) and pick out a few things - massage oil, new toys, adult games, whatever. Buy some candles. You get the idea!

I've never put a lot of emphasis on the "bedroom" side of my relationship but I just read a book that really made me see how my partner feels about s*x. It's made me do a total 180! s*x is how men communicate and feel closer to their woman - they see it in a totally different light than we do. Try some new things and see how he reacts - I bet he'll be doing whatever you want by the time he goes back to work!!
