Tottenham Hotspur midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Tom-Huddlestone-c35227 has returned from injury and says that he is determined to put his injury woes behind him and help his side contend for a top-four finish in the Premier League next season.
The 25-year old midfielder has had a troublesome career for Tottenham, being forced to sit out on the sidelines for the greater part due to injuries. Huddlestone only managed four appearances last season after picking up an injury in August.

Tottenham are poised to losing star midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luka-Modric-c22857 this summer, probably to Spanish giants Real Madrid. The midfielder recently went on strike and failed to report for training with the club. He even refused to travel with the Spurs squad that flew
off to the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/United-States-c3034 earlier this week for their pre-season tour.
Modric has however apologized to club chairman http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniel-c9879 Levy and head coach Andre Villas-Boas. Despite this, the relationship between the player and the administration is rocky and Villas-Boas expects Modric to depart White Hart Lane by the end of the summer.
This is however subject to interested clubs being able to meet Tottenham’s £40 million valuation.
Spurs have signed Icelandic international playmaker Gylfi Sigurdsson from Hoffenheim and also acquired http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jan-Vertonghen-c17814 from Ajax. They are currently linked with Porto’s Joao Moutinho, but Huddlestone is confident that he will be able to compete for a spot
in the team’s midfield.
"Regardless of whether Luka stays or goes, I want to be in the starting XI," he told an English newspaper.

"Whenever I've been fully fit at Tottenham, I've been in the team and I want that to continue.”

"Luka's a fantastic player and I don't really know what his situation is. But I am fully confident in my own ability to play in the team with him or without him."
Huddlestone also revealed that his ankle problem is of a recurring nature and that he’ll always suffer from it, but he is confident that he will be able to cope with it and manage his career.
