this trade would not happen....ottawa needs d men so trading one for a goalie that is at the tail end of his career is not wise.  kings should shoot themselves for ever getting rid of kopitar and i want to see nothing of kopitar on the bhawks cause there offense is full of young studs already

Ottawa would get the better deal because they would get Kopitar who is young up and coming star in the nhl and khabibulin is almost as good as Gerber and they would still hav emery. Especially if they could add seabrook who is another up and coming defensemen for the blackhawks

The Nashville ( and why is there hockey in Nashville) Predators will be traded to Seattle for 25 Starbucks Franchises.All of which will be in prisons.  The Columbus Blue Jackets will be traded to Oklahoma City and have their farm teams in Skokie,Il amd Muskegon,Mi and will be  named the "OKIES".  Yes, Player call ups will be announced as "OKIES" from "MUSKOKIE" or "OKIES" from "SKOKIE "

i think all teams might have a blockbuster trade or at least get so different important players because the Devils now have Rolston and Holik now, Hollweg is a leaf, Jagr and Straka leave the NHL, Marian Hossa signed with the Red Wings,Lightning traded Boyle to the Sharks,the Wild trade for Zidlicky,the Blue Jackets traded Zherdev and another player to the Rangers for Tyutin and Backman, and other teams have new players now so anything is possible

LA would lose a reall really good player in kopitar and not gain that much gerber is shakey and with mezaros you don't know if he will be ok or great.

I don't think the Sens need to be a part of this deal though. Gerber's good enough to carry them deep in the post season. It's also easy enough to ship Khabibulan over to the Kings. Doesn't make sense to me.
