So I have this huge pimple that has been forming on my forehead. I have been putting really hot water on it and it makes it a little smaller. I also have been putting tea tree oil on it for spot treatment. But that hasn't helped that much and I have to have it gone tomorrow. I don't think I can pop it because it is just a huge red bump and not white on the tip. I read somewhere that toothpaste can make it go away a lot overnight. Should I try that tonight? Because I have also read where people get burn marks on their face from using toothpaste for a pimple. please help! NEED IT GONE TOMORROW! 10 points best answer!

  1. The best thing you can do is apply some cover-up on it. Don't wash your face too much because that will get rid of all the oil your skin needs and may cause more to occur. They arn't caused by dirt.

  2. It will take some time to get rid of a pimple, but try soaking a cotton ball in either rubbing alcohol or lukewarm salt water and hold it against the pimple for a while to kill the bacteria. When I tried toothpaste, what it did for me was dry up the pimple and it actually made the white stuff come out so I could pop it (though I don't promise that it will be the same for you).

If nothing else works, try putting some ice on it tomorrow morning to help reduce the redness.

Oh, and be sure to drink plenty of water.

    Good luck!

  3. I dont really think its going to happen :[

but you can try toothpaste :]

    thats what i'm doing tonight,

haha but try useing really hot water

to shrink it then put toothpaste on afterwords

and dont take it off till moring

  4. I myself have gotten burn marks from using toothpaste, so I wouldn't recommend it. I don't think it's really possible to make your pimple completely disappear overnight, but the best spot treatment that I've ever tried is Clean & Clear Persa Gel 10. It clears up my pimples faster than anything else I've used. Any other spot treatment with 10% Benzoyl Peroxide would work the same. Put a dab on your pimple and rub it in before you go to bed, and then put a bit of moisturizer on top because it's a bit drying to the skin around it. Do this in the morning as well, and it should look a lot better by tomorrow.

  5. Rubbing alcohol and mouthwash!! It'll dry it up like no other! =)

  6. well first thing you need to do is DONT TOUCH IT!!

because it will make it worse and yes toothpaste does work on some people just dont put alot cause it will burn...

  7. toothpaste really does work, but also if you pop it and put neosporin and a band aid on it over night it'll all but go away.

  8. Next time you shop, go to Wal-mart and look for Zapzyt. It's in a white tube with orange letters - it works very well compared to everything else I've tried esp. those stubborn ones. It will take about 2 or 3 days to really reduce it, but give it a try. Also, use white pillowcases bc benzoyl peroxide will bleach out fabrics.
