Huge pimple on nose?

i have this huge pimple on my nose and it has been there for like 3 years and it wont go away...last night i put on a little more medication than usual and now its huge and red and hurts...how can i get rid of it?...my dermatologist said just use the prescription meds and it should go away eventually...but i don't think it will!

If it has been there for several years it is probably NOT a pimple.  It may be a mole, in which case it won't go away.  If it has changed its appearance a lot recently (like you indicate) I'd go to a different dermatologist and get it checked out.

pop it and cover it up with make up and powder. it will dry out and go away

ok i don't know how to get rid of it but i do know how to make it less noticable, first put some ice on it. That will  make tha swelling go down and some of the redness. then i know this is weird if your a boy but put some cover up on it, it really helps and you dont even have to put alot.
