Huge rat/ferret cage

Question

I need a cage for my 6 does. It needs to be big; a real good size. But it also needs to be under 200 pounds if possible. I am determined to give my girls the absolute best environment they could possibly have.

I would like to give them a cage that could house between 8-10 rats comfortably, although if it could house more that would be great! I am hoping to persuade the person who joins me in being owned by these little beastettes, to let me adopt two more, so it really does need to be a good size.

Notes:

A Ferplast Jenny will not do.

Neither will a Furet Plus; this is what I have now(4 of the girls are still babies).

I don't want anything over 250 pounds.

It should be available in the UK if possible, although I will consider shipping from a reputable company in the US, providing they are reasonable or cheap shipping rates.

i might be able to help you i have lots of huge cages at the moment i have 1 doe in my bigest cage 2ft X 2ft X 4ft with her litter of 15... but what i did was buy a indoor avary and put some shelfs in and its worked fine!

I have the perfect cage for you. Its the Midwest double level ferret nation cage. A friend of mine did the calculations and you can house 14 to 16 rats quite comfortably in this cage. And believe me you can. I have 17 girls in this cage. And they have ample enough room. We bought the cage at Petsmart but anywhere that sells ferret stuff online probably has this cage. I know that Petsmart does have it on there website. The cage weighs like 97 pounds. Good luck. The cage itself is $240 through petsmart. But if you have a Petsmart near you if you can find the price for the cage cheaper on a website and print the ad out they will match the price. Well at least that is how it is in the United States.
