  1. well when i had rats i had to set a trap that doesnt kill them because we also had hamsters so if they got caught in we could get them out they sell them at walgreens and other stores but they go in and get trapped and u throw it away .

  2. To potentially eliminate the threat of harming your rabbits, use a live trap and bait it with some type of meat, or other bait not to entice the rabbits.

  3. Kill the rat, duh?

  4. How about stop breeding and bring your poor rabbits indoors so they won't get killed by predators?

  5. try traps and poison

  6. maybe you can place your bunnies somewhere else for two days and set the mice traps for those two days and see what you get. poor bunnies hope it works out.

  7. Traps are cruel. Especially poison. Why don't you get the rabbits out of your basement, and stop breeding them too much. Then you can set up a box with cheese in it. Rats love cheese, then when its eating you can snatch it and put it outside. Don't be cruel it's a living thing that also has a life like humans and rabbits.

  8. find the rabbits?

    good luck :[

  9. pay sum 1 to kill it

  10. If you have one rat, there's surely more. If possible, move the rabbits and babies to a diff. safe location for a few days. Get several of the big Rat snap traps (a mouse trap won't cut it for an adult rat) and bait with a small swab of peanut butter. Place the traps near the nest that your Dad found, along the wall or any rat burrows you may see. Be careful when setting those traps, you def. don't want one to go down on your finger! If the rabbits cannot be temp. relocated, use a small Havahart trap (you can usually borrow one from your local SPCA) and bait it with peanut butter. Rats are active at night, so just set it up and see what happens. Good luck.
