  1. you need benadryl....you probably had an allergic reaction!

Hope it gets better soon :)

    GOD bless

  2. Sounds like a bit of an allergic reaction - try some benadryl or go to the doc.

  3. This actually just happened to me about three weeks ago.  It was yellow jacket stings but it continued to swell and change colours.  I finally saw a doctor when I could not walk on it any more.  She happened to give me some antibiotics as it is a puncture and prone to infections as well as a double dose of Reactin, 20mr.  Benadryl works but gets most people drowsey and tehy dont have time to sleep.  Reactin works just as well and is non-drowsey.  All you have to do is buy over the shelf and take two.  As soon as I took the Reactin and the antibiotic the swelling went down within three hours and it took about 6 days to be back to normal....but all better.

  4. anti-histamines ,

  5. You can try Benadryl or Reactin, but if it's as swollen as it sounds you may need to see a doctor.  Some people are so allergic to bee stings that they actually die from the sting before they can get help. It sounds like you need antibiotics, and your doctor may want to recommend that you keep something to use immediately if you get stung again, because when you are highly allergic each sting is worse than the previous one.

  6. have been keeping honey bees for several years now and i feel pretty confident about answering this one. Some form of benidryl or antihistamine will help with the itching and possibly the swelling if taken soon after the sting. You will receive lots of input about thinngs like meat tendorizer, tobacco, baking soda an other topical treatments. they are all just wives tales. I have tried and none seam to work. the venom of a wasp is different than that of a honey bee. a honey bees venom is an irritant used to defend the hive while a wasps venom is used to kill its prey. My best advice is to not rub or scratch and let it run its course. it is normal for it to be sore for a coupel of days

I have had stings itch and be sore for as little as a few minuts or as long as a weak
