Hugh Morris, the managing director of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 cricket, has shown his concern over the excessive use of social media site, Twitter, by English players.
Morris is of the view that Twitter can be a great source to share one’s feeling but if it is not managed properly, the same can back fire for players and become a headache for management.
Considering the social site as a double edged sword, Morris said, “I kind of get Twitter...it's a great medium for pushing out good messages when it is done really well.  When it's done poorly it is a complete and utter nightmare
for those of us trying to manage and lead teams. It is like giving a machine gun to a http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Holly-Louise-Colvin-c63292. It can be fantastic or it can be an absolute disaster too.”
English players have been Tweeting on a regular basis, and some of them have even been fined by England Cricket Board (ECB) for posting inappropriate material. http://www.senore.com/Cricket/TT-Bresnan-c2711 are amongst those fined.
Pietersen expressed his disappointment after being dropped from the Poms limited over roster and was levied with a hefty fine; however, the exact amount was never disclosed.
Bresnan, on the other hand, was involved in a war of words with a follower on Twitter. The cricketer used abusive language and later apologized for his misconduct.
The English team had a hectic 2010-11 season and are now enjoying a lay-off from cricket. The Poms' 2012 season will start with a series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/United-Arab-Emirates-c3033. The tour comprises of three Tests, four ODI’s
and three T20 matches.
England’s cricket team has been on a roll, they are the number one ranked team in Tests and T20.  Morris believes that families of players played their role in the development of the team. The director said that wife and girlfriends
of cricketers helped the players stay focused during the tour of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 and were encouraging them to go for the win.
Morris further said, “Our guys are away for massive periods of time, 260 days a year in a hotel room. It is really important the girlfriends, the wives and the families go down and see them but at the appropriate time, that's absolutely
critical.”
