Hughes Net Online with the PS3?

I have Hughes Net Internet and about to have a PS3 and I was wondering if it will have lagg, like will I be able to play Call of Duty 4 without being all laggy, or even be able to play online with other people at all! Is it possible, like do you use it, and if not, then what is my next best possibility in a rural area. Thanks

The biggest problem with satellite internet is the "latency" or "lag" that occurs because you are sending and receiving information all the way up into space!

A faster and cheaper solution is mobile broadband that uses cellular tower networks.
