The defender has been heavily linked with many of the top clubs in Europe after his sensational performances for Benfica last season. According to reports, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are after the player but the deal could be put off by the 30 million
Euro price tag set by Benfica.
Almeida praised his Portuguese International teammate and rated him the best in the business. He said that Coentrao has shown immense growth in the last two years, and that shows when a club like Real Madrid are after him. The striker described it as a great
achievement and hoped that the deal goes through.
