The Olympique Lyonnais custodian is not happy to see the club missing out on Champions League football and has said that he will talk about his future after the Euros
This summer, it seems that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hugo-Lloris-c16408. The former OGC Nice man has a contract until 2015 but has recently posed a lot of question marks regarding
his future at the club.
The questions become even more serious considering that Les Gones will not be playing in the Champions League next season.
Tomorrow night, the custodian was yet again named the best goalkeeper in Ligue 1 but could finally put his personal ambitions on the forefront when the transfer window opens.
While talking to RMC, the Frenchman gave a few hints regarding his future. Lloris says that he wants to get some much needed rest before the Euros and will then speak to Jean-Michel Aulas and Remi Garde about the club’s ambitions.
“There will be questions to ask during the offseason. But the priority is to rest and relax before Euro. There will be discussion with the president, Jean-Michel Aulas and Remi Garde to see where we’re going and what are the ambitions of the club. We will
miss the Champions League next season and it’s the biggest failure of the season.”
Since joining Lyon a few years back, Lloris has never missed playing in the UEFA Champions League and has fond memories of the competition. Gutted by not being able to secure a qualification, Lloris could consider leaving Stade de Gerland in order to join
a club where he can once again play in the UCL next season.
English Premier League side, Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the player and are willing to pay Lyon 12 million Euros for his services. However, Lloris is still refusing to spark rumours. The goalkeeper says that he still belongs to Lyon which means
that his future will be settled once the European Championships are over.
Lyon on the other hand, may be willing to let go of Lloris as the club is looking to lower down the wage bill.
