win 4-2.
This time though, a draw might have ended Les Gones’ hopes of winning their 8th Championelle. And Lloris knows that the team can’t do things like these on a regular basis.
The Frenchman believes that just a point in a Ligue 1 game is not enough as the team has to compete for the title as well.
“In the second half, we didn’t do much wrong. Our first half was not terrible either. We just made a few stupid mistakes. We put ourselves in trouble, but we had a good frame of mind and knew we could level the game.”
However, the France international also said that his side has no space for making mistakes any longer. Lloris knows that things are going to get complicated if the trend continues and has thus asked his teammates to work extra hard to get maximum points
whenever they enter the field.
Les Gones are in 4th place in the Ligue 1 standings and chase leaders Paris Saint-Germain by 10 points. They next play against FC Bordeaux in the Coupe de France round of 16 game.
