Hulk should join Manchester United: Anderson
Manchester United midfielder Anderson believes that Sir Alex Ferguson should sign Porto forward Hulk. Anderson himself joined United from Porto and he feels that his former team-mate has everything needed to become a hit at Old Trafford.
"He has quality, would suit English football and I think he is good enough to do well at a big club," said the United midfielder. "If it was my decision then I would sign him but Sir Alex Ferguson signs the players and his knowledge would mean he knows all
about the player."
Hulk started his professional career from a Brazilian club Esporte Clube Vitoria but couldn’t establish himself there and went to a few loan spells with Japanese teams http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kawasaki-Frontale-c39683, Consadole Sapparo and Tokyo Verdy. Japanese side Tokyo Verdy signed
him on a permanent basis after he finished top goal-scorer in a loan spell with the club. After a short stint at the club he caught the eye of Porto scouts and the club made him their property in 2008.
Hulk, whose real name is Givanildo Vieira de Souza has scored 46 goals and 31 assists for Porto in 106 matches. He established himself in the starting team in the 2009-10 season. His performances for Porto have caught the eye of many managers around the
world and Tottenham manager, Harry Redknapp, also made an unsuccessful attempt to sign Hulk in the January transfer window.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hulk-c16436 also featured for Porto in their Champion’s league game against Manchester United in 2008-09 and ended up troubling the United defence with his shots and strength.
Hulk’s agent has added fuel to the rumor by saying that his client is heading to the Premier League in the summer.
"The big clubs in England have been in contact," said Hulk's agent http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fonseca-c13888 "They have asked about his contract situation but any decision about his future rests mainly with the directors of Porto. I think we could be discussing a move. I am calm about the
situation and so is the player because he has an excellent future. I think we could be discussing a move in April or May."
The powerful 24-year-old striker has also been linked to Manchester City, Arsenal and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786.
