Hull City Council along with Hull FC announces launch of state-of-the-art sports facility 
It has been announced today by the Hull City Council and the Hull FC that they are evaluating the possibility of launching the sports facility in Hull in a joint venture as, both entities were thinking over developing the sports facility on Pickering Road
at Sirius Academy.
It has been disclosed that Sirius Academy will be moved to the same venue by the month of September, which is targeting for improving the available facility of sports, which will cater to the deficit experienced in the health, education, and physical activity
sector.
While sharing about the development, Cllr Steve Brady, the chief of Hull City Council stated, “We believe this to be an innovative solution for the use of the land next to Sirius Academy and we are delighted that we can provide a first-class community facility
for use within West Hull. We also feel it is extremely important to be able to bring an historically important stakeholder with strong role models back into the city and an organisation who can provide added investment into the location.”
It was further added by Brady that by being part of this venture, it shall be certified that the facility is rightfully utilised by the community members. This will definitely help in upgrading the interest of sports within the community.
This facility will be decked up with the training fields for as many sports as it is possible. It is also catching the news that there will be arrangements for the in-house physical education facility available, along with 3G Astroturf and playing grounds
in-line with the international standards laid down by the sports authority.
The key purpose of this facility will be to provide for the best possible facility for the local groups and teams. This state-of-the art facility is already grabbing attention of   groups interested in playing the basketball, netball, disability sports amateur
football and rugby league club.
The hype of this latest sports complex does not end with all that, it will also have arrangement  of the first-team training of Hull FC  which will be coupled with the  scholarship programmes initiating with in the vicinity too.
