Hull Kingston Rovers and Justin Morgan to part ways at end of ongoing 2011 Season - Rugby League

Hull based English Rugby League side, Hull Kingston Rovers, has announced the departure of their head coach, Justin Morgan, at the end of the season. Officials at the club have made the surprise
announcement in a statement released on their website this Wednesday, August 3.
While both parties has restrained from disclosing the reasons associated with the move, the pre-mature termination of contract for Morgan leaves a lots of ground for speculation.
Hull Kingston Rovers Chairman, Neil Hudgell, has paid tribute to the services and efforts of Morgan during his stay at the club. He said, “Justin will leave at the end of the year with our
best wishes and on very good terms with everyone at the club.”
Hudgell further added, “Without doubt, no one has had a bigger influence on our resurgence over the last six seasons in transforming us from National League also-rans to an established Super
League club.”
Earlier following his sides poor performance in the 2011 Engage Super League and Carnegie Challenge Cup season and the Willie Mason’s contract episode, it was rumored that the things between
the board and Morgan are not running smoothly and he is on the lookout for other options.
The Australian born utility forward Morgan, started his professional coaching career with the French side Toulouse Olympique in 2005. In August 2005, he assumed the role of head coach at Hull
KR.
During his six seasons stay at the Craven Park based club, Morgan has helped Rovers to progress their way up from the National League One championship to the Super League competition. Since
securing their top flight, he has enabled his side to remain at the top-level championship and survive a relegation threat in the 2009 Super League season.
The 36-year-old Morgan has termed the decision to leave the club as timely. He added that he has enjoyed the time he spent at the club and has re affirmed that he has good working relationship
with the club’s board and management. He confirmed that he was in talks with other clubs for the possible switch and further confirmed that the club’s board and management were aware of his plans.
Morgan further added, “I am extremely grateful for the opportunity that I have been afforded to explore other options. I have worked with some great players and staff during my time at Craven
Park, and would like to thank them for a wonderful experience.”
Castleford Tigers, New Zealand Warriors and Penrith Panthers Rugby League Club are possible destinations for the Morgan.
