Human Anatomy help. Need tips on ways to study. Please help.?

Hello Everyone,

I am starting Human Anatomy and I really need some pointers on how to study. The books deal mainly with termenology and memorization. Can someone please help me on ways to make this easier for me. Anything will help. I have a bunch of index cards but I want to put more than just the definition. Thank you in advance for all your help.

It is a grueling course and you must stay on top of your work every day.  Charts and drawings with lots of colors. And not just once: use different textbooks and sources, see photographs, so that you have the same facts hammered into your head from different perspectives. At least for me, repetition of a single text is boring and I end up in "not recording" mode.  You can do this.  I think the biggest factor will be informing study groups and helping each other.
