im interested to hear from u where r people going.first- we are using only small percentage of our brain.what would it happen is we used more, much more

second-with more brain usage, do u belive we are capable of over human fizical and psihical achivements- telekinesis and other similar and "third eye"powers.

third-where do u see science- we all saw how scientist take one part of gene where one animal glown in dar, other hibrenate----they put this isolated genes in other animals and it scientificly prowed-it actualy works, and we all saw animals like pigs instantly glowed in dark, other hibrenate.where is this going, and do u see this kind of experiments evolving on people- taking and isolating best genes of some animals and put it in humans.

i am interested in your opinion.is MARVEL imagination in one small sence soon to be come true. some people simply say :enough with the x-men movies, but this time i ask for serious an aduld opinion coz human race and future cries for this answers

  1. Human brain and DNA has been manipulated.  Check this out!...

  2. i don't believe in it. im a christian. i think we would be  able to solve problems a lot quicker if we used more of our brain

  3. First it's a fable we use only a small part of out brains.

"The 10 percent statistic has been attributed to the pioneering psychologist and philosopher William James (1842-1910). I haven't been able to confirm that he gave a specific percentage, but he did say "we are making use of only a small part of our possible mental and physical resources" (The Energies of Men, 1908).

"The general view is that the brain is too small (just three pounds), uses too many resources (20 percent of body oxygen utilization though it accounts for just 2 percent of weight), and has too much to do for 90 percent of it to be completely comatose"

In short, we use all of our brain. Maybe not all of it all the time but neither do we run all the equipment of our cars at 100% capacity all the time.

As I recall all attempts to prove telekinesis, mind reading etc. etc. have failed. Our brains don't work that way and even if they did don't provide enough energy. With Marvel the characters toss cars around, blow things up and so on. Where would the body generate and store such energy? "Iron Man" was more realistic, he always seemed in danger of running out of power.

There's never been a critter proven to have any extrasensory abilities. It's doubfut humans will be the exception.

  4. Uh, you're wrong in thinking that we use only a small percentage of our brain -- we use it all. That's just a myth.

Thus, the rest of what you write has no basis for it.

No, we're not going to develop impossible abilities, like tlekenesis.

  5. I'm afraid your idea that we only use a small percentage of our brain is an out-of-date concept that we know now not to be true. With modern scanning techniques we can see that we use almost all of our brain almost all of the time. Some areas of the brain are more active than others, or have a greater intensity of activity than others, but that is all.

As to what developments we may see in the future, it would seem to be sensible to ensure that we have a future, by sorting out the stupid things we are doing that are producing planetary warming, climate change, and human overpopulation, first.

  6. One of these alternatives is the space man (" Homo espacialis"). We have seen as the human species tends, like all alive being, to multiply and to expand. It arose in Africa, it conquered the continent, soon one extended to Eurasia and finally to the Americas. At the moment it is the species of dominant vertebrate in all the Earth; their mass media are so powerful, that no longer distances exist nor, nor geographic barriers between the different human populations; this in the long run, will more and more bring a greater uniformity between the towns, since these are hibridan to each other and the human races will tend to uniform themselves. In second half of century XX, the man has sent itself to the conquest of the space… The Earth it has left small. At the end of the 60 it began to go to the Moon; still it has not stepped on other planets but already it has sent space probes until moved away planets more of the Solar System and is collecting of these and places more moved away of the Universe, using telescopes in orbit like the Hubble. Already there are shortage more than ninety extrasolar planets (some, of a size similar to the Earth) and a planetary system similar to ours, and one calculates that it can by all means have with facility intelligent life in our galaxy and in others. (It is probable that intelligence is a natural evolutionary process of certain forms of life, as long as to the environmental conditions and the sufficient time occur necessary). Project SETI tries to detect signals of this life. One is working in chartering inhabited space stations and in the future not very distant it is tried to send men to Mars.
