Human Rights in Schools?

Question

Do kids still have to do PE in their pants if they forget their PE kit?

It certainly used to be embarrassing (especially when i forgot my pants)

Has this been outlawed along with everything else? Even if the PE teacher has a CRB check?

lol i don't think so!

at my son's school it's no kit - no p.e.

and they no longer provide a selection of ill-fitting, mis-shapen items stuffed in a box in a cupboard that i was subjected to in my school days.

apparently it's yet another health and safety issue, but i can't for the life of me work out why!?!?

My school used to call them the 'dead and dying',because they would never do any sports.

One day,the games teacher(M.T),made them strip down to their undies & vests,sent them out on the rugby field,and we used them as tackling practice! (1971-1976).

no. at our kids school they don't even have a box of spare kits. They just don't do it or do it in their uniform. They don't make kids do owt now, they're too scared. It's a joke.

not in the school my 9 year old goes to.

they always have a stock of shorts t-shirts and trainers in varying sizes if someone forgets theirs.

lol@you forgetting your pants. i did that once didnt realise until i fell over in the playground and cut my knee. the teacher told me to go to the toilets and remove my tights so she could see to the cut. i wouldnt take them off lol and was too embarrased to say why.

haha "PE" isn't even a real subject its just an excuse to do nothing. you might aswell die.

I read an article from 2006 where girls were forced to change in front of boys and do P.E. in their underwear. One girl refused and was excluded for 2 days.

The Department for Education said: "It is up to the head to decide what happens when children are changing for PE. It is a matter of personal discretion."

As far as I know there is no law against it though, so it's basically legal.

once the students ebter the school doors they have no real rights only to learn live in peade and eat

lol In primary school they used to make us do it in a knickers and a vest!

At the last school I went to if we forgot out PE kit they made us rummage through the lost and found bin
