Human have been exploring the outer space for decades now but i nver heard somebody exploring the inner earth

Is it possible for human being to explore the center core of our earth like what ive seen in the movies ?

The distance to the center of the earth is 3,950 miles. (reference #1)  It is impossible, at this time, to dig a hole to the center of the earth due to pressure, temperature and mechanical limitations. The deepest hole ever drilled is a well in Siberia that is 37,000 feet deep (reference #2)

There's a monetary incentive to explore the inner earth (valuable minerals) but the technology known today is not sufficient for drilling more than 7 miles deep into an earth that is 3,950 miles deep.
