  1. Maybe ur just shy?

try and open up a little bit!!

  2. Your might be somewhere on the autistic spectrum.  Like most psychological conditions, Autisim comes in degrees of severity.  Its quite common. and its only a problem if it stops you functioning.

You need to look for a way to make things easier for you.  Perhaps you need to find some quiet time, away from people.  Go for walk out in the country or meditate?  Try to find a comfortable balance between social contact and your need to be alone.

People like to assume that psychological problems are something you either have or not.  Its a easy way to look at the world, people are either ill, or perfectly OK.  Its dosen't work like that, you can be a bit paranoid, a bit psychotic, a bit delusional, a bit depressed, a bit autistic.

  3. You’re fine as long as you are working alone...Seems to me that while academic knowledge is at your fingertips, you’re far less certain about feelings. The inability to handle emotions leaves you (and others!) stressed out.

Perhaps you’re a technocrat in your field, believe in logic, and in being rational at all times. As technocrat you get used to thinking indepth. It becomes difficult to scale down to the level of knowledge of the people around, so a communication gap appears. Your logic wants the world to be structured, organized and accordingly, predictable. But that doesn’t match the ‘logic’ followed by the people around you. Perceptions differ and so do interpretations drawn from them, so each speaks from a different perspective, making little or no sense. In being rational all the time, you distrust  emotions and gut feelings; you rely on the rational (left brain) to deal with issues, other people and decision making.

Fact is the rationality route to understanding reality and making choices is actually slow, and in the world of people, just not streetsmart. Hence as you say, confusion, tension and upsetness results, besides probably, dumb choices or indecisiveness. Intuition (right brain) is the quicker route that relies on instinctual/experiential learning. This is as important a thinking process as rationality is thought to be.

Emotional inputs make you aware of choices significant to you, and therefore ‘right’. Research has shown that those unable to use this route are indecisive/poor decision-makers in the real world.

This may be where you’re failing. In interactions with people at work or socially, you need to be as intelligent emotionally as you are academically. You need to step outside your comfort zone and activate the intuitive route. That means to first identify, understand and manage your own emotions before you can recognize and deal with those of others.

  4. SAD - Social Anxiety Disorder

I have it.. I start to sweat when i'm around people. I always think they are judging me or looking at me.

They say anti-depression pills work like zoloft but its best that you see your doctor.

  5. go see a doctor as soon as possible, you might be suffering from socialphobia
