What would happen if a human were to land on each of the planets? can you explain for each planet? for example "if a human were to land on pluto, he'd freeze to death." like what would be their reactions to each planet? inclu. Mercury, Mars, Venus, Pluto, Jupiter, Uranus, Saturn, and Neptune. thanks.

  1. Mercury...burn to death on the sun facing side or freeze to death on the night side

Venus..burn to death no matter where he landed

Mars...would be ok with a space suit

Jupiter....crushed to death under the atmospheric pressure before he ever found a surface

Saturn - Neptune....same thing as Jupiter

    Pluto......freeze to death

  2. They'd fry on mercury (dayside) and venus.

They'd fall through the atmosphere, die, freeze and then get crushed on jupiter, saturn, uranus, and neptune.

They'd die then freeze to death on mercury (nightside), mars, and pluto.

Dying (except where you fry) is usually caused by all the air in your lungs getting sucked out. Like drowning but worse. It would take about 10 seconds on each planet (except the ones where you fry) before you lost consciousness.

I'm assuming you mean no spacesuit here. With a spacesuit, you could survive on all except the gas giants, mercury dayside and venus.
