Human society relies of the government to make decisions, but the power is corrupt?

As we know, the society relies on the government for leadership and acknowledgement to run the economy and the daily lives of other human beings.

When you look at society now a days, you may realize that the government's power has been corrupted and there are now more flaws in the governing body. The government does what it can to supply the people in the world, but some people still suffer. As we know, there are claims that the world has more than enough food to feed the people living on earth, but yet there are people in poorer countries that don't get much at all.

The society as a whole doesn't function to a proper standard, the economy is so biased to which the government deals with the most. The growing concerning of the government being too greedy and the power becoming corrupt doesn't suit every individuals moral values of life to the extent of gratitude.

The problem is capitalism.  Free trade and giant corporations are the ones making the shots, not the people or their governments.  Sure, in democracies like the United States we elect our officials.  But all of these officials are overwhelmingly rich and already in bed with capital greed.

i agree with you wholeheartedly.

this is because we live in a capitalistic society. it's about big money. what other society is there to choose from? marxist, communist, feudal, dictatorship? if there has been a proven better system, we would a rebelled by now. we just have to vote for those who have our best interests at heart and hope for the best. that's the hand we were dealt unfortunately.

I think many governments are very concerned about staying in power, and are bowing to certain groups which can aid that goal. This is unfortunate because where the money could better benifit the future of the nation is going to groups that are not really contributing to the ongoing benifits of the nation. Multi nationals are receiving the greatest tax breaks and are concerned with the own profits and excluding all competion, not a good process for the people. The group with the most voting power are now receiving a better standard of living than those on the bottom wage and don't work. In the past money that could have gone to education and community projects had been directed to the up keep of this group through health and benifits. Hopefully we have a government that will now address this.
