Human traffickinggg?

Despite the government’s initiatives to combat trafficking in there still appears to be a high demand.

Would you agree that an increase of successful law enforcement will produce a disincentive for traffickers and will therefore have a direct impact upon demand????

The government should do everything it can to stop human trafficing.

However, your premise is flawed.  The law of supply and demand does not differ here form any other ... transaction.

Successful law enforcement will reduce supply, but if demand exists then the prices go up until the suppliers are willing to run the risks of being caught.

If law enforcement, social stigma, and even moral education are applied to the demand side of the equasion as well as the supply side, then human trafficking will be further reduced.
