Question:

Human years in a cockatiel?

Unfortunatly, my beloved pet cockatiel died today :o(

He was 25 years old, which I understand is a good age for a cockatiel, as the average age is between 10-17 years old. I have also heard in some instances where cockatiels can live up to 30 years.

I was just wondering what the equivalent of his age would be in human years? I imagine he must had been an OAP (Old Aged Parrot)! Cheers.

  1. Around 100 years, since cockatiels hit sexual maturity when they're a year old. But I guess 80-90 years would be a better adjustment--still, a great age for a cockatiel!

  2. i am so sorry about your bird that is really sad. anyway heres a website all about cocktails
