Humanism in The Birth of Venus?

I'm doing a report for a History class and I need to know what symbols of humanism are in The birth of Venus?

Interesting, I am just finishing reading a book that brings up just that.  

You need to read, or at least look into, THE MIRROR OF THE GODS by Malcomb Bull, it goes right into that quickly.  As a matter of fact, the front cover is the Old Bot's Venus.
